Good evening,
I just received this iteam and I need to return it as it is counterfeit and I bought it under the false advertisement that it was genuine Longchamp.
Please advise on how to process a return and refund as soon as possible.
Many thanks,
Maia
Hi Maia,
Let me answer your question directly, because it is a fair one and it deserves a straight answer.
No, this is not a Longchamp bag, and we do not sell it as one. We are not an authorised Longchamp stockist. What we sell are manufacturer-direct bags made in the Le Pliage style, which is why the price is what it is.
I am sorry if that was not clear to you when you ordered.
Let me know how you would like to go from here.
Warm regards,
Anna

Hi Anna,
Thanks for the directness and clarity. However, on the site it’s explicitly described as a Longchamp item, (and even states it’s made of leather) so it is being sold as one, along with many other “Longchamp” bags on the site. I’ve attached the pictures for reference. The bag also came with Longchamp branding and a card.
I believed the site had advertised the bag as being on sale down from £150, and that is a reasonable belief based on the way these bags are being advertised. Based on this I need a refund to be processed, please provide me with return information as soon as possible.
Kind regards,
Maia

Hi Maia,
You're absolutely right, and I am genuinely sorry. Looking at our listing, it does say "Longchamp Bag" without making clear that this is a manufacturer-direct style, not an authentic Longchamp product, and that is misleading. You had every reason to believe you were buying what we were marketing, and I understand completely why you felt deceived.
This is a problem with how we've described the product, and it is not acceptable. I am flagging this internally so our listing gets corrected and this does not happen to another customer.
For you, I have put through a full refund to your original payment method. You do not need to send anything back, please keep the bag. The funds should reach you within a few business days.
I am genuinely sorry for the confusion caused by the product description and the frustration this has created.
Warm regards,
Anna
