Thank you for getting in touch, and for the honest questions.
Let me be straight with you. What we sell are manufacturer-direct bags in similar styles, made by the same kind of manufacturer that produces for well-known retailers. That is exactly why our prices are so much lower than the branded retail price. The saving is in the supply chain, from buying direct and cutting out the middlemen, not in the make or the materials.
On your other questions: yes, we do ship to the UK. As for customs, any import duties are set by your country's customs authority rather than by us, so they can occasionally apply. We have never encountered this with our orders, our orders arrive with nothing extra to pay, but it is genuinely out of our hands, so I would not want to promise you either way.
