Hi
My canvas bag with leather trim has just been given to me after much use
and the canvas is in need of a clean . How would ypu recommend i clean it

Hi Judith,
Thank you so much for reaching out, what a lovely message to receive.
For the canvas, the gentlest approach is best. A soft cloth lightly dampened with water and a little mild, non-detergent soap, dabbed gently over any marks rather than scrubbed, works well. For anything more ingrained, a soft-bristled brush with a small amount of the diluted soap can help lift it. Once done, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight.
For the leather trim, it is best to keep this away from water and soap where possible. A soft, dry cloth to wipe it over, followed by a proper leather conditioner or cream every so often, will help keep it supple and looking its best. We would not recommend machine washing the bag, as the leather trim would not take well to it.

Dear Anna
Thank-you for your help , I was lucky to be given 2 bags by my employer. My
daughter has the much loved blue bag now ,it looks beautiful, cleaned up
and ready to go.
