What caught my attention, though, is that the actual shopping experience can become much broader than that positioning suggests. There are quite a few different styles across dresses, sweaters, cardigans, jackets and footwear, and some collections contain a large number of products. So while the collection is curated, a customer can still end up doing a lot of the work themselves to decide which piece is actually right for them. For example, someone looking for an elegant outfit for a dinner may find a dress they like, but they could also be a natural fit for a cardigan, jacket or complete set depending on what they’re trying to create. If those connections aren't made naturally while they're shopping, the customer may simply choose one item or leave without finding the combination that would have made the purchase more compelling. That’s what made me look more closely at the *Shopify customer journey and product discovery experience*. I noticed a way the store could guide someone from what they came looking for toward the most relevant pieces, without losing the curated feel you’re trying to create. Would you be opposed to that?
